Sir Ken Robinson: On Changing Paradigms (and how even sympathetic editors can negatively impact content)

If I have any living heroes in this world, Sir Ken Robinson would be chief among them. A friend posted a link to the short video below. When I watched it, I realized that the editing had actually altered the impact of Sir Ken's lecture to the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA). It exaggerated his stance on medicaton and minimized many of his other points.

Hey! Steve!

I am still waiting for you to apologize to teachers all across the United States for your off-the-cuff comments. Believe me, as my powerbook starts to show its age and I shop around, your uninformed comments really do make me consider buying a linux pre-loaded laptop instead of a MacBook.

Okay Mr. Jobs... the ball is in your court. Years ago, Apple decided the Education Market was its core business. In these days of iPods and iPhones, you may be forgetting that a huge percentage of your computer business is STILL teachers, former teachers, and students who like what they use at school and pay the premium to have the same thing at home.
