Born and raised in Brooklyn, I escaped the confines of liberal New York City only to wind up in, even-more-liberal, western Massachusetts. Too far east to be the Berkshires, and too far west to be considered a Boston suburb, I've found a fun-loving former mill-town/college-town where, like a character from the TV show Cheers, "everybody knows [my] name..."

Over the years, this site has served many purposes. All of them, intended to share my musings - both mythical and mechanical - with anyone who found value in what I created. My experience as a writer, actor, producer, educator, programmer, and designer, often come to bear upon projects in interesting ways, sometimes with surprising results. Here, you will find a sampling of some of my work.

Feel free to contact me or download my resume.

My Writing

In addition to the poetry and musings that you will find on this site, I have written quite a few other things over the years. Over time, I will be digitizing more of my old content and posting it along side my newer efforts. If you have seen me mention something that I havee not posted yet, do not hesitate to contact me and ask about it.

Below is a sample of some of my writing that you can find online:

Doctor Who 2007-2009

Two seasons of 13 episodes, released monthly (more or less) using creatures and villains from the old series but adapted to the pace and format of the new series. Featuring the voice talents of Mark Kalita, Adriana Melendez, Damaris Mannering, and Stephen Kilcullen (among others) and mastered by the mixing talents of Paul Mannering and David Sobkowiak, our goal is to bring as much excitement to the audio as the team around David Tennant has been able to bring to the BBC.

Plays

Words of Love

A collection of "performed poems". Scenes and vignettes around a central theme in styles reminiscent of poets and playwrights of the 20th century.

The Mating Habits of an Urban Heterosexual and Other Business

A two act farce, set in the late 1980's. It was written in response to a challenge. At the time, Thirtysomething was a very popular television show. I was told that the reason there was never a twentysomething was because relationships between people in their twenties lacked the depth needed to carry the show. My goal was to disprove this theorum.

Playwright Aurand Harris called it "The best of La Ronde made modern and accessible."

My Recent Roles

Although I still occasionally act on stage, most of my performances these days are online. And, even though I do not have a face "best suited for radio" (if I do say so myself), audio dramas have become my milieu of choice. Below, is a sampling of my recent roles:

Having spent a long time behind the microphone, I got curious as to what it was like working behind the mixing board. I hope you enjoy listening to the stories below as much as I enjoyed producing them.
